Network Croydon

Ok, this is like a bus, nothing for ages and then two come along at the same time.

Next Wednesday is the launch of something that I am involved in. We have called it Network Croydon and it is a great new organisation for small to medium businesses who trade within the borough of Croydon.

We have decieded that membership will be FREE and only charge a small amount for our events. We have also decieded not to charge a different fee for non-members either.

The first meeting takes place on Wednesday 25th (next week) at Croydon Town Hall and we are really pleased that Michael Douglas from The Business Experience will be our guest speaker.

On the move

This week has been a strange one. Planning a meeting in central Croydon on Monday evening was not the best way to start the week with the Crane event that crippled Croydon. I was very near one of the police blocks and couldn't believe how many people ignored them and drove past thinking they knew better.

Rumours where another factor that evening. There was everything from what was actually happening to the crane was about to fall onto the flyover to the building had to be demolished to remove the crane!

I like many others had to wait around and got delayed but could also understand that if the emergency services had to close the area, they had done it for a good reason.

We ourselves our on the move. As we spend so much time travelling into central Croydon for meetings etc, we have taken the decision to move there. We have found a great spot which is located on Barclay road.

Looking at the blog, I must get into the habbit of updating it more often again!
